margin will be extremely thin compared to what was anticipated. In short, the Red Wave has evaporated into the Red Fizzle. But why?
But as Rose notes, a younger right is rising that finds reactionary ideas relevant and appealing: 'Republican politicians won't know them all…but their young aides will,' he writes. Its defense of individual liberty, limited government, and free trade is today a symptom of political decadence.'
Two recent and unconnected revelations demonstrate that the deep state remains engaged, deceptive and dangerous.
Here is the backstory.
Since 2014, thousands of state and local governments have sued pharmaceutical companies they blamed for causing the 'opioid crisis' by exaggerating the benefits and minimizing the risks of prescription pain medication.
Establishment Republicans like New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu are starting to lash out as liberty Republicans in the 'Granite State' have taken him to task on COVID-19 Restrictions, bloated budget proposals, and even a veto of anti Critical Race Theory legislation.
A contributing factor to our national debt is the fact that when a fiscally conservative state (like Wyoming or North Carolina) refuses federal grant money, those funds will be reallocated to other states. The recently introduced 'Pay Down the Debt' Act would make sure these funds get used towards paying down the national debt.
RLC member Rep. Thomas Massie displayed the courage of his convictions for refusing to abide by Nancy Pelosi's mask mandate in the US House of Representatives. As a result he was fined $500. Mr. Massie insists that the current mask mandate in the House is not based on science.
Republican officials, who have created a cottage industry out of blasting progressives for their cancel-culture habit of boycotting and shaming people who say and do things they don’t like, went into full cancel-culture mode and railed against corporations.
